Visitor tip
Engage children with the scavenger hunt activity and interactive exhibits like the chemistry display and outdoor dinosaur excavation sand pit. These hands-on experiences significantly increase engagement, especially for early school-age children.
Best time
Plan to visit Wednesday-Saturday between 9am-3pm when the museum is open. Note that the planetarium has limited availability (currently only 2 Saturdays per month), so check the schedule in advance and plan accordingly if planetarium shows are a priority.
Visitor tip
Combine your museum visit with a walk through the native plant garden outside for a pleasant extended experience. This adds value to your visit at no extra cost.
