Visitor tip
Don't miss the sports memorabilia section featuring autographs and photos - sports fans especially should prioritize this exhibit. One visitor was overwhelmed by the collection and noted there are even more artifacts not currently on display.
Visitor tip
Bring a camera or phone to take photos, as many visitors found the displays so impactful they took extensive photographs. Note that not all pieces currently have labels, so having your own documentation can help you remember what you learned.
Best time
Visit during special events and community programs held throughout the year (including free events like the MLK Day opening on January 20) for an enhanced experience. Educational workshops and seasonal festivities provide deeper engagement with the content.
