One of the best museums I have been to. They have a little of everything. You are allowed to touch items. They also have a rock club attached. If you are this way make the time... you won't regret it!
Definitely a hidden treasure. Talk to the staff of volunteers, Kathy, Norman, Francis, etc.. They have stories to tell. Yes the rock and gem room is impressive but the rest is interesting as well.
