• 🕐Arrive early (just before 10 AM opening) or visit on cold days/late season to avoid long wait times, which are common on warm days. Consider visiting later in the day for shorter stays rather than spending all day there.
• 💡Bring your own food and snacks (no alcohol or glass containers allowed) to save money, as park food is mostly fried and costs $10-$15 per item. Pack easy-to-remove sandals since most rides have shoe cubbies.
• 💡Skip renting a tube—you only need one for the wave pool, and all other tube-required rides provide them. Buy a reusable drink cup to refill at any fountain station every 30 minutes, and water is available free at all drink stations.
• 💡Apply and reapply sunscreen multiple times throughout the day. The park has excellent safety features including metal detectors and security guards, creating a safe family-friendly atmosphere.
• 💡Reserve a cabana in advance for private shade and seating, especially important since shade near the wave pool is limited. The park has plenty of general seating and restrooms throughout.
