Arrive before 3:00 PM to enjoy all activities, especially the Lorikeet Encounter feeding (last feeding at 4:15 PM) and Butterfly Flight area (closes at 4:30 PM). Last entry is 4:00 PM, so plan accordingly.

Don't miss the orb-weaver spiders hanging from the ceiling in the live insects area and the well-curated shadow box displays—these are visitor favorites and showcase excellent taxonomy work.
Best time
Visit on a weekday (Monday-Saturday) morning when the museum opens at 9:00 AM to experience exhibits with fewer crowds, giving you more time to enjoy the 20,000 butterflies and birds.
