- Highland Family Aquatic Center has slides for all heights: small slides for little kids, medium slides for younger kids, and big slides for older kids and adults. Note that the corkscrew slide and three-story speed slide require a 48-inch height minimum.
- Bring an empty cup to use at the water fountains to stay hydrated. Outside food, drinks, coolers, and inflatables are not permitted, but Coast Guard-approved life jackets are allowed.
- Visit during Itty Bitty Splash Time on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-9:45am (June 2nd - August 6th) if you have children ages five and under for a dedicated, less crowded experience.
- The facility has plenty of shaded tables to escape the sun, multiple lifeguards on duty, and various water equipment to keep the whole family occupied. Pricing is noted as very reasonable by visitors.
- The Highland Recreation Complex is on the same campus and features an indoor play world and free outdoor playground, making it a great way to extend your visit and keep kids entertained throughout the day.
