Best time Visit in late spring or warmer months to see the most active animals, especially the American Black Bear which doesn't make frequent appearances until later in spring. Several visitors noted animals were sheltering during colder weather visits.
Visitor tip This zoo is ideal for toddlers and young children due to its small, manageable size, minimal crowds, and easy walking trails with good elevation views. Bathrooms are conveniently located at the entrance.
