Best time Visit Sunday morning around 10 AM for the least crowded experience. The petting zoo is not busy at this time, allowing kids more space and interaction with animals.
Visitor tip Safari rides are available Monday-Friday 1-4pm (by appointment) and Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm (no appointment needed). The petting zoo is open daily sunrise to sunset with no appointment required, making it perfect for quick stops off I-16.
Visitor tip Bring a picnic or grab food from the Chevron store to enjoy at the picnic tables while watching animals. This creates a relaxing break experience, especially valuable for families traveling on I-16.
