Parents with small children should supervise closely around the open body of water at the back of the park near the pond, as there are no safety railings. Geese and ducks frequent this area, and swimming is not permitted.

Lords Park and Zoo are a beautiful place to visit. The park is well taken care of and vast. The zoo was very enjoyable and the price of free was a pleasant surprise. It was worth making a donation to help the animals.
