What you should know

Visitor tip Bring food in closed, secure containers for your visit. Goats are notorious for trying to access uncovered food, so pack snacks and lunches in containers with lids to protect your items.
Visitor tip Bring fresh fruits and vegetables from home to feed the animals special treats. Staff will guide you on which foods are safe for each animal and demonstrate proper feeding techniques, making it an educational and interactive experience.
Visitor tip Take advantage of the knowledgeable and friendly staff who actively educate visitors about the animals. Don't hesitate to ask questions—staff are willing to teach children and adults about animal care, behavior, and safety.

What visitors say

There were quite a few empty exhibits in the discovery center that did not say the animal was not on display. However, it was fun to see the animals that were there.
They have done great things with the zoo!
It was good but didn't have a whole lot of animals and it definitely looked like they needed to get more grounds keepers alot of it was grown up or needed repairs but I enjoyed it!
