Visitor tip
The touch tank is the highlight for children under 10. Arrive early in your visit to maximize hands-on time with creatures before crowds build, and allow extra time here as kids often spend extended periods holding and interacting with the marine life.
Best time
Visit during summer season (June-September) when the aquarium features rotating weekly animal displays with approximately 90 local species. Return multiple times during summer to see different creatures, as the collection changes based on local collections.
Visitor tip
Engage with the knowledgeable staff and interns throughout your visit—they actively guide visitors tank-to-tank and provide educational context about the animals. Ask them questions about the specimens and local marine ecology to enhance the learning experience.

What visitors say
Wow! 100% recommend stopping by this really cute little aquarium with kids. My 2 year old was amazed and loved holding and touching the creatures. The best part was actually how amazing the interns were. They walked us tank to tank…
My son (8) spent so much time holding the sea creatures…! He loved it! The staff was amazing…knowledgeable and thoughtful. It is little, but exceeded our expectations!
This is a place to bring kids. If we had kids with us it would probably be a 4 or 5 star rating. The Aquarium is not an aquarium for adults. It will however teach kids about the importance and relevance of marine life.
