💬 What Parents Say
- Check hours before visiting—Barnyard Zoo is only open Tuesday-Sunday 10am-2:45pm and is closed Mondays. Plan ahead as these limited hours can conflict with daycare schedules and typical day-off timing.
- The paved path is stroller-friendly, making it excellent for families with infants and toddlers. The animals are positioned at viewing heights suitable even for small children.
- Admission is completely free, and the zoo features a variety of animals including alpacas, donkeys, mini horses, pigs, and peacocks all within Green Hill Park. This makes it an excellent no-cost family outing.
- Large groups should call the Farm's Zookeeper at 508-799-1323 in advance to arrange a visit. Do not attempt to feed animals due to health and safety restrictions, though some animals like donkeys can be petted.
- Bathrooms are located in a building adjacent to but outside the farm area. Plan your restroom breaks accordingly, especially important when visiting with young children.
