What you should know

Best time Arrive when the park first opens to avoid crowds, and plan to leave before lunch when it gets noticeably busier

Visitor tip Bring extra shade solutions (umbrella, pop-up tent) or plan shorter visits during peak summer heat, as the park has limited shade coverage overall despite the toddler area being slightly better

What visitors say

We visit every year when we come to Holden. My kids love this place. It's definitely not anything fancy and they are going to be tired after walking up the stairs to get to the slides, but they will be happy! They charge $20 for 90…
Expensive for the little of time you get. You can pay 52 all day at jungle rapids or 22 all day at white lake water park. They actually have a full water park unlike Holden an supply. Way to pricey with no upgrades or more options. Then…
Fun thing to do with the kids while in Holden Beach. Only 3 slides for most kids and 1 for 2 and under. Still fun for an hour or so. Wouldn’t imagine spending much more time than that. Small shade area for onlookers.
