Our current places at the factory- Polar Ice (for track out camp and public skate), Little Oak Collective for kids consignment and Two Roosters ice cream. We had a great experience- parking is easy and it’s not crowded.
The Factory is great abs has lots of quality shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, a BIG problem is the traffic. Ingress and egress to/from The Factory is TERRIBLE. Certainly not their fault, but town of Wake Forest needs to take action.
Terrible ice and poorly run by Polar Ice. There is skate sharpening and the pro shop there has great people. That said - if you’re going for the ice - prepare to be disappointed.
