Visitor tip
Start with the kinetic water cycle sculpture and rain demonstration metal artwork near the entrance—reviewers consistently highlight these as impressive installations that shouldn't be missed. Photos don't do them justice, so seeing them in person is essential.
Visitor tip
Book River Roving pontoon boat tours well in advance (reservations open March 18th for 2026 season). These free 1.5-hour tours are highly popular and run April-October. Note: children must be at least 6 years old to participate.
Best time
Visit Tuesday-Saturday between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Visiting during quiet times (weekday mornings) means you may receive personalized staff attention and a more intimate experience exploring the 200+ exhibits.
