One of my favorite experiences while visiting Sunriver. They had a dozen telescopes setup ready to view. Some as big as a car. Go if the skies are clear. Worth the price of the ticket.
SNCO was extremely beautiful! Guss, and Vail, the two Trumpeter Swans, and Stevie the Barn Owel were out to great me. We even got to say hello to the beautiful Gerfalcon.
We did the 1 hour night observing tour. It was wonderfull! The staff and volunteers are really knowledgeable, enthusiastic and eager to share their passion. The hour just flew by (as a matter of fact it was to short ;))
