• 💡Purchase both zoo and train ride tickets together at entry for the best value - the train ride costs only $4 and is highly recommended as a worthwhile addition to your visit
• 🕐Arrive early to avoid crowds and maximize your experience, as this is a smaller, well-organized zoo that gets busy. Note that last admission is 4:15pm and the zoo closes at 5pm
• 💡Plan for a leisurely 2-3 hour visit - the compact layout allows you to get close views of all animals including primates, rhinos, zebras, big cats, and lions without extensive walking
• 💡If visiting with children, be aware that while the zoo is family-friendly, consider requesting information about petting zoo opportunities or interactive animal experiences, as this is an area visitors have suggested for enhancement
