What visitors say
The Anthracite Heritage Museum was interesting. It was supposed to be an event weekend, but I guess we missed it. It's a glimpse into history. The building was cool and clean. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.
Somehow the 12 people who died in the Knox mine disaster were the lucky ones because they never had to sit through this boring presentation. My husband and I are history buffs and were excited to learn about the Knox mine disaster…
Really cool place! I love all of the old machinery. Great informative exhibits, really helps to tell the story of the area and the industry. The silk making machines were particularly interesting, some were made in Paterson, NJ.
