Best time
Visit on weekdays or during non-peak times to avoid crowds and have a better experience with the popular exhibits like the Grand Carousel, FedEx cockpit, and splash pad. Special events like New Year's @ Noon draw massive crowds.
Visitor tip
The splash pad is open seasonally and is highly recommended for hot days, so plan summer visits accordingly and bring swim clothes. It's a valuable outdoor amenity that extends the experience beyond indoor exhibits.
Visitor tip
The museum is hands-on throughout with virtually no exhibits that are off-limits to touch, making it ideal for tactile learners and reducing the need for constant supervision reminders. This is a major draw compared to traditional museums.

Very fun and exciting place for the kiddos! Some areas could use a good cleaning and a few repairs, but overall it is very nice. The splash pad is a great addition (open seasonally).
