Best time
Visit on a weekday (Tuesday-Saturday during summer) rather than weekends to have a more intimate experience with staff and exhibits. Starting August 1st, the museum closes Mondays and Tuesdays, so plan accordingly.
Visitor tip
Young children (ages 4-12) will be highly engaged by the life-size outdoor dinosaur displays, interactive touch screens throughout the natural history exhibits, and outdoor dinosaur puzzles. The concrete pathways are stroller-friendly.
