What visitors say

I had some time to kill and decided to check out this local museum. I thought it was really well done and informative. It fill led on some questions I had while exploring the area. I also appreciated the WWII history. If you like…
We attended a slide show and lecture about the two original railroads which served Bastrop County. The lecture hall was full. The museum has a nice small gift shop, and the volunteers and staff were very friendly.
Small but great Museum. Definitely worth visiting. My eight year old enjoyed our visit here.We received a very warm welcome when we first walked in. Wonderful people running this place.
