Book a guided tour with one of the passionate docents (Sharon, Robyn, or Ms. Spencer are highly praised) - they transform the exhibits into engaging storytelling and provide insights you won't get from reading displays alone. Tours are available for groups and individual visitors.
Best time
Arrive well before closing time if possible. Visitors who arrived near closing were still given extended personal tours, but you'll have a better experience with more time to explore the nearly 6,000 square feet of exhibits without feeling rushed.
