What visitors say

Loved this place, it is an unassuming hidden gem in SW Virginia. The exhibits provide a great history of Wytheville and the Black community there. This is good for a quick stop on roadtrip or if you happen to be in the area.
Hidden gem. This is an old school house with a lot of history. The staff is wonderful and will guide you through the buildings and tell you the history. There is a short film featuring people who taught at, went to, or have a connection…
It was closed due to the holiday.
