A very nice and walkable state park. There is a lot of history and you can explore the reconstructed buildings and displays. There is a combination of dirt, grass, and paved trails. There is an entrance fee unless you have the state…
Parts close at 5 and we got there around 4. We checked these out first and were impressed with what we saw. We then went to the Infantry post at the top of the hill to walk a bit and enjoy the view before heading out.
Beautiful campground, stayed there in the winter weather dry camping. Nice to have vault toilets accessible and electricity for our RV. Look forward to coming back in the summer
