Best time Visit during cold weather months to maximize indoor viewing opportunities. The climate-controlled indoor buildings offer excellent bear viewing areas with underwater pool views, and cold weather naturally encourages bears to be more active indoors rather than outside.
Visitor tip Don't miss the unique underwater viewing areas where you can watch bears swimming and playing—this is a standout feature that sets Great Bear Wilderness apart. Multiple viewing angles are available, so take time to explore different vantage points.

What visitors say

Part of Amish tour we stopped here and shopped. Lots of breads and treats as well as hand made items, bird houses, chimes and a lot of other items.
Had a great time visiting and feeding the goats. However, some of the feeder machines were taking our quarters and not dispensing goat food. Their was no one to ask for help. Otherwise, kiddos had a blast!
Always fun when you can spend time with pygmy goats! Bring your quarters for the candy machines filled with pellets and feed these cuties!
